Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Dave De Bartolo started the match with the kick off. 4 minutes into the game, Joel Gaona cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Fortunato Montini was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dave De Bartolo in the 15th minute of play forced Mexico's goalkeeper Dante Lacasa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 19 minutes into the match, Mexico's goal looked a bit too open when Dave De Bartolo came free, but Dante Lacasa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 23rd minute of the match, Dave De Bartolo tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Dante Lacasa saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. GG Team FC were awarded a corner in the 24th minute after Mexico's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Hassan Marcou took the corner. After 25 minutes of play, Mexico's Joel Gaona made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Fortunato Montini was left in no man's land by his defense there! Dante Lacasa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hassan Marcou in the 28th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Dave De Bartolo in the 34th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Dante Lacasa saved Mexico from getting behind. 38 minutes into the match, Mexico's goal looked a bit too open when Hassan Marcou came free, but Dante Lacasa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 38th minute Hassan Marcou shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dante Lacasa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lautaro Mancebo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Fortunato Montini tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

The wind increased when Joel Gaona made the kick off in the second half. Mexico's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Joel Gaona in the 52nd minute. After taking down the ball on Mexico's corner Joel Gaona fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Fortunato Montini quite easily take care of the ball. Dante Lacasa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hassan Marcou in the 58th minute of play. In the 65th minute Dave De Bartolo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dante Lacasa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 65 minutes, Dave De Bartolo made it 2-2 with a short kick to the right side. Mexico's Dante Lacasa tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. GG Team FC's Dennis Man was substituted for Dave De Bartolo. Dante Lacasa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bernardo Scandella in the 71st minute of the match. Dante Lacasa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dennis Man in the 73rd minute of play. When Lautaro Mancebo came up free with the goalie in the 78th minute, the Mexico fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lautaro Mancebo couldn't finish the play. GG Team FC made a substitution. Maciej Kaznocha replaced Stefan Cârstea. Bernardo Scandella took the ball and in the 83 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Dante Lacasa. Dante Lacasa dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-2. In the 87th minute Dennis Man shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dante Lacasa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Felix Luque's late challenge caught a GG Team FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Felix Luque helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Mexico getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Felix Luque hit a great ball.
