Denis Stanislao took the ball and in the 21 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Pedro Manzanares. Pedro Manzanares dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. If Denis Stanislao had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 25th minute Denis Stanislao shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pedro Manzanares saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the Sacronas Futbol Club defense, Axel Montenegro kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Santos Sidro. The Sacronas Futbol Club fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Santos Sidro should have stopped the shot. If Axel Montenegro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Santos Sidro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Axel Montenegro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sacronas Futbol Club's Beyhan Oğuzer quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Luis Cazalla, made in the 36th minute of the game. Santos Sidro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Abram Sarmiento in the 38th minute of the match. Santos Sidro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Axel Montenegro, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The supporters of Colombia booed when Sacronas Futbol Club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Octavio Regis didn't get a good kick on the ball. Santos Sidro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Abram Sarmiento in the 57th minute of the match. In the 59th minute, Denis Stanislao left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Sacronas Futbol Club fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-2. After a defensive mix-up in Colombia's zone, Hernan Crespo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Pedro Manzanares came out of the goal and Hernan Crespo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Denis Stanislao struck a weak shot in the 66th minute. Pedro Manzanares didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sacronas Futbol Club. Colombia made a substitution. Abram Secada replaced Axel Montenegro. 72 minutes into the match, Sacronas Futbol Club's goalkeeper Santos Sidro had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Kevin Mastache. Ignacio Mastache who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 72ndth minute tested the skills of Santos Sidro when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Colombia's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Kevin Mastache in the 73rd minute. In the 73rd match minute, Colombia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Joshua Garrido to maneuver through the defense. In the 74th minute, Joshua Garrido fired away a free kick, which, to Santos Sidro's relief, went just outside the right post. Pedro Manzanares made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Denis Stanislao in the 76th minute of play. Denis Stanislao struck a weak shot in the 78th minute. Joshua Garrido made in the 84th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Sacronas Futbol Club's Gilberto Fagildo. After some fancy dribbling in the 89th minute, Denis Stanislao managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sacronas Futbol Club's supporters rose to their feet, but Denis Stanislao was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Pedro Manzanares breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The crowd rose to their feet as Ignacio Mastache kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Santos Sidro. That made the score 2-3 in the 93 minute of play.
