Dante Lacasa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Angelo Vettori, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Mexico booed when Cesate was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Allar Luite didn't get a good kick on the ball. Mexico's manager was very thankful on the sidelines as his team had managed to keep the ball out of the net after some serious pressure by Cesate. For all the effort they put into the match, the Mexico players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Cesate.
