Daniel Zorita was slow to take the kick. During this time Ecuador's players had a chance to rest. Tobiasz Rostow's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Julio Vera read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 22nd minute of play. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Ecuador's goalie and right to Lev Shershun. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Ecuador's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. 胡峰阳 struck a weak shot in the 47th minute. Julio Vera didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Master Champion BMX Flat. The Master Champion BMX Flat players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Ecuador were winning 1-2.

Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tobiasz Rostow in the 53rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Julio Vera prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Nicolae Ceaușescu made a fantastic save in the 55th minute, when Daniel Zorita sent off a good shot on target. In the 58th match minute, Master Champion BMX Flat was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Matei Corona to maneuver through the defense. Nicolae Ceaușescu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Agustín Saelices in the 60th minute of play. Felix Montenegro in the 61stth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Nicolae Ceaușescu, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 62nd minute of the match Ecuador got a corner.
