The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After some careless play in the Manantiales Fc defense, Oliver Bierhoff kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Zbigniew Barowicz. The Manantiales Fc fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Zbigniew Barowicz should have stopped the shot. With a little luck, ADM Taquaras's Jeremias Moreno got control of the ball when Miguel Quintas tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 16th minute Oliver Bierhoff shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zbigniew Barowicz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Zbigniew Barowicz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Oliver Bierhoff, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. After 26 played minutes ADM Taquaras got a freekick which was hit by Oliver Bierhoff. Tobias Cuarto made in the 30th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Amado Oriol. 32 minutes into the match, ADM Taquaras's goal looked a bit too open when Miguel Quintas came free, but Jeremias Moreno reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 35 minutes into the game, ADM Taquaras's Oliver Bierhoff nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Zbigniew Barowicz made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Jeremias Moreno took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Miguel Quintas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Oliver Bierhoff in the 44th minute of play forced Manantiales Fc's goalkeeper Zbigniew Barowicz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Federico Hanni stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Aurelio Aragones hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. Manantiales Fc's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-4. Federico Hanni received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Jeremias Moreno tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 82 played minutes Manantiales Fc got a freekick which was hit by Israel Cugat. Zbigniew Barowicz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Denílson Tepedino, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of ADM Taquaras booed when Manantiales Fc was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 84 match minutes in a wonderful position. Guillermo Edwardo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Zbigniew Barowicz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Áron Bódog in the 85th minute of play. After having played for 87 minutes, Áron Bódog managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. ADM Taquaras's supporters crossed their fingers, but Áron Bódog was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Áron Bódog got free with Zbigniew Barowicz in the 90th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a defensive mix-up in Manantiales Fc's zone, Áron Bódog stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Zbigniew Barowicz came out of the goal and Áron Bódog tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Denílson Tepedino scored 1-5 in the 94th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Zbigniew Barowicz, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. A collision led to Manantiales Fc getting a freekick after 97 minutes play. Israel Cugat hit a great ball. ADM Taquaras's Áron Bódog shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 97th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Zbigniew Barowicz but with some difficulty.
