The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Daniel Zorita stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Ecuador's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Daniel Zorita in the 78th minute. Ecuador's Daniel Zorita was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Christian Miljeteig in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Luis Andino did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 0-5 to the left of a surprised Christian Miljeteig 78 minutes into the match. Christian Miljeteig was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 93rd minute, Tobias Bjørdal hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Luis Andino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Daustad fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Ecuador were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
