Larpe Cabrera didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Mariano Lacasa went, in the 24th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Ryszard Rzentkowski recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 31st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 33rd minute Mariano Lacasa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Larpe Cabrera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thiago Pliego stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ryszard Rzentkowski's shot from short distance in the 34th minute. Nueva Adalucia's Larpe Cabrera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mariano Lacasa in the 36th minute of play. Larpe Cabrera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mariano Lacasa in the 43rd minute of the match. 44 minutes into the game, Manel Sans was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Nueva Adalucia's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Chile the free kick. Mariano Lacasa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Nueva Adalucia made a substitution. Jesús Espinosa replaced Ryszard Rzentkowski. In the 82nd match minute, Nueva Adalucia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Manel Sans to maneuver through the defense. Mariano Lacasa might have been able to make a better finish in the 84th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Larpe Cabrera. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Mariano Lacasa ran back to his position shaking his head. With a little luck, Nueva Adalucia's Larpe Cabrera got control of the ball when Orlando Casaus tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 90th minute the ball was on its way in behind Nueva Adalucia's goalkeeper Larpe Cabrera, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. A sloppy throw-in by Santxo Moya in the 94th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Chile's Pedro Indiano. The Nueva Adalucia supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Chile's performance. The match ended with a win for Chile.
