In the 8th minute, Cascade Park West's Amir Lee dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. The audience thought a goal was coming when Waldo Renteria got free with Jonathan Ferrant in the 16th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 17th match minute, Venezuela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Patricio Costa to maneuver through the defense. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Allen Dalton, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Claude Joyner in the 21st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jonathan Ferrant saved Venezuela from getting behind. Jonathan Ferrant came out of the goal in the 24th minute to try and stop a shot by Cascade Park West's Waldo Renteria. But to his dismay, Waldo Renteria quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 28th minute of the match, managed to save Venezuela from getting a goal against them. Claude Joyner recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 30th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Jose Correa kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. 37 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Claude Joyner came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 43 minutes into the match, Cascade Park West's Amir Lee sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jonathan Ferrant narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

52 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Waldo Renteria came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tomas Illescas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 54th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a little luck, Cascade Park West's Dario Wilhelm got control of the ball when Tomas Illescas tried to sneak it across the goal line. Jonathan Ferrant stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Amir Lee's shot from short distance in the 67th minute. Cascade Park West were awarded a corner in the 68th minute after Venezuela's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Amir Lee took the corner. After taking down the ball on Cascade Park West's corner Amir Lee fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Jonathan Ferrant quite easily take care of the ball. After 72 played minutes Cascade Park West got a freekick which was hit by Barlas Aydın. Jose Correa's late challenge caught a Cascade Park West's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jose Correa helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Cascade Park West booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jose Correa didn't get a good kick on the ball. Cascade Park West made a substitution. Wang Sha Qian replaced Amir Lee. Jose Correa kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Tomas Illescas's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Dario Wilhelm was relentless in the 85th minute of the game. Cascade Park West's Isidro Singleton was substituted for Rashad Richardson. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Waldo Renteria, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute.
