The audience was convinced that Tomas Illescas's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Frederico Bertassi was relentless in the 10th minute of the game. Jonathan Ferrant was a little too slow when Vivaldo Fernandes got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 13th minute. The score was now 2-0. Andrézinho Goiano kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. In the 17th minute, Camilo Gaos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Kauan Pena came free with the goalkeeper in the 20th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Jonathan Ferrant could save by the left post. Venezuela's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Vivaldo Fernandes 21 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 3-0. Tomas Illescas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Frederico Bertassi having to interfere. Jonathan Venegas kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. When the match had gone on for 29 minutes, Vivaldo Fernandes put it in 4-0 from a short distance just to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. 35 minutes into the game, one of GynBsb:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 36th minute there was a penalty for Venezuela. Tomas Illescas stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Frederico Bertassi. 4-1. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fellipe Cosme, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 46 minutes into the game, GynBsb's Vivaldo Fernandes nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jonathan Ferrant made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-1. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 5-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Tomas Illescas to make the kick off. 52 minutes into the game, Vivaldo Fernandes cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 6-1. Jonathan Ferrant was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 55th minute, Paul Danielsson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 56th minute Vivaldo Fernandes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the Venezuela defense, Fellipe Cosme kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. The Venezuela fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jonathan Ferrant should have stopped the shot. Tomas Illescas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A sloppy throw-in by Andrézinho Goiano in the 70th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Venezuela's Jonathan Venegas. 73 minutes into the match, Vivaldo Fernandes notched a goal, 10-1, to the right of Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant. Jonathan Ferrant was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 77 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Vivaldo Fernandes came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 77th minute, Vivaldo Fernandes ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jonathan Ferrant was frozen by the shot and now it was 11-1. 85 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Tiso Posse came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. GynBsb walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
