Julio Vera was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Julio Vera made an important save on a dangerous shot by Domingo Clis in the 40th minute. In the 72nd minute Agustín Saelices shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pablo Maggio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a left leg Julio Vera saved Ecuador from getting behind. 91 minutes into the match, ΚΛΚΞRΘS ᴾᴵᴬᴿᴬ's goalkeeper Pablo Maggio had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cristian Sancho. In the 92nd minute, Felix Montenegro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Pablo Maggio made a fantastic save in the 96th minute, when Daniel Zorita sent off a good shot on target.
