Pablo Maggio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lautaro Mancebo in the 26th minute of play. Joel Gaona received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Pablo Maggio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Tomas Demario was the one to do the kick off. After having played for 54 minutes, Alberto Tafalla managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mexico's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alberto Tafalla was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Pablo Maggio didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Joel Gaona went, in the 76th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-5 was the resulting score. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Alberto Tafalla in the 79th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Pablo Maggio saved ΚΛΚΞRΘS ᴾᴵᴬᴿᴬ from getting behind. Through an outstanding action, after 82 minutes, Pablo Maggio successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. With an all-out effort, Mexico's Pablo Maggio threw himself towards the right post 82 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Luca Zorita, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. A collision led to Mexico getting a freekick after 84 minutes play. Lorenzo Cazalla hit a great ball. In the 84th minute, 邵瑜彬 sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Mexico's Dante Lacasa didn't even have to move. Pablo Maggio was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 99th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Joel Gaona. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Mexico had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
