After the first half The Everett Hawks were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Abdi Mehmet Rakim made the kick off in the second half. After having played for 52 minutes, Abdi Mehmet Rakim managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. The Everett Hawks's supporters crossed their fingers, but Abdi Mehmet Rakim was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Llorenc Silvestre made a fantastic save in the 75th minute, when Feijo Fresnos sent off a good shot on target. 79 minutes into the match, The Everett Hawks's goal looked a bit too open when Rio Campos came free, but Ludo Vanden Bossche reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 80 minutes of play, The Everett Hawks's Abdi Mehmet Rakim made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Llorenc Silvestre was left in no man's land by his defense there! The Everett Hawks's Luke Van Bostraeten was substituted for Willem-Jan Grootjans. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rio Campos in the 84th minute of play forced The Everett Hawks's goalkeeper Ludo Vanden Bossche to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
