Jan Abrahamsson was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. But to his dismay, Willem-Jan Grootjans quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. After a rather tough play, PP Plessydask's Bertil Lundberg got a free kick in the 30th minute. PP Plessydask's Jan Abrahamsson proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 31st minute of the match, managed to save PP Plessydask from getting a goal against them. Philippe-Arnaud Heremans who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 31stth minute tested the skills of Jan Abrahamsson when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Philippe-Arnaud Heremans did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 5-0 to the left of a surprised Jan Abrahamsson 31 minutes into the match. Artemio Lastur hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. Jerzy Penkalski charged in rather forcefully in the 44th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jerzy Penkalski the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 44th minute, one of PP Plessydask:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for PP Plessydask. Af the end of the first half the score was 6-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Thanks to some nice moves Hjalmar Haegg could shoot a difficult shot in the 88th minute, which Ludo Vanden Bossche however easily saved by the left post. The audience was convinced that Luke Van Bostraeten's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jan Abrahamsson was relentless in the 90th minute of the game. Jan Abrahamsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Abdi Mehmet Rakim in the 93rd minute of play. Artemio Lastur hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. Feijo Fresnos took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 96th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Jan Abrahamsson. PP Plessydask's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. The Everett Hawks had won after a very even match.
