Merengue FC's Mateo Llorienzo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Anísio Arósio in the 3rd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Darwin Núñez in the 4th minute of play forced East Telde United's goalkeeper Llorenc Silvestre to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Merengue FC's Mateo Llorienzo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Quinito Rosas in the 8th minute of play. Llorenc Silvestre took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Domingo Jago, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Darwin Núñez took the ball and in the 13 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Llorenc Silvestre. Llorenc Silvestre dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Merengue FC's Mateo Llorienzo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Anísio Arósio in the 20th minute of play. In the 22nd minute Anísio Arósio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mateo Llorienzo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 29 minutes had been played when some careless play by Merengue FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Joaquin Flores was slow to take the kick. During this time East Telde United's players had a chance to rest. The corner ended in Joaquin Flores almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Merengue FC's Mateo Llorienzo did a great save. The audience was convinced that Anísio Arósio's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Mateo Llorienzo was relentless in the 33rd minute of the game. Mateo Llorienzo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Anísio Arósio in the 35th minute. In the 66th match minute, Merengue FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Raimundo Gonsalvo to maneuver through the defense. Merengue FC's Everardo Nerio was substituted for Raimundo Gonsalvo. In the 67th minute, Raimundo Gonsalvo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Joaquin Flores recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 68th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Rio Campos hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. Aquiles Urtsin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Llorenc Silvestre tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mateo Llorienzo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Anísio Arósio in the 76th minute of the match. 80 minutes into the match, Merengue FC's goal looked a bit too open when Quinito Rosas came free, but Mateo Llorienzo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mateo Llorienzo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Piotr Gacek in the 82nd minute of play. When Merengue FC's Domingo Jago in the 88th minute got a chance for a shot 88th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye East Telde United's goalie prevented a goal. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. East Telde United were victorious despite being under pressure from Merengue FC for much of the match.
