With a left leg Mateo Llorienzo saved Merengue FC from getting behind. In the 25th minute Romanian Gods™ were awarded a corner. Ionuț Cosoroabă went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Merengue FC's goalie and right to Ruffy Coutinho. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Merengue FC's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. 26 minutes into the game, Romanian Gods™'s Ed Zeeman nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Mateo Llorienzo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Mateo Llorienzo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ed Zeeman in the 29th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Zula Dziura in the 31st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Mateo Llorienzo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ed Zeeman in the 32nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Mateo Llorienzo saved Merengue FC from getting behind. Romanian Gods™'s attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Ionuț Cosoroabă in the 35th minute. Ed Zeeman took the ball and in the 37 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Mateo Llorienzo. Mateo Llorienzo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ruffy Coutinho in the 40th minute of play forced Merengue FC's goalkeeper Mateo Llorienzo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 42 minutes Merengue FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Ionuț Cosoroabă who took care of the corner kick. 43 minutes into the game, Zula Dziura cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Mateo Llorienzo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Aquiles Urtsin to make the kick off. In the 52nd minute, Zula Dziura left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Romanian Gods™ fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-4. After 55 minutes of play, Romanian Gods™'s Ed Zeeman made it 0-5 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Mateo Llorienzo was left in no man's land by his defense there! 62 minutes into the match, Zula Dziura notched a goal, 0-7, to the right of Merengue FC's Mateo Llorienzo. Mateo Llorienzo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Isac Murgan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Domingo Jago in the 67th minute of the match. Ionuț Cosoroabă was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 82nd minute. Romanian Gods™'s manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. In the 85th minute Darwin Núñez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Isac Murgan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Ruffy Coutinho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd rose to their feet as Ionuț Cosoroabă kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Mateo Llorienzo. That made the score 0-9 in the 91 minute of play. The Merengue FC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Romanian Gods™ were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
