NFC Eagles 22's Ciccio Tacconi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Zorita in the 6th minute of play. 盛世 高文竞s short, quick shot in the 7thth minute got Julio Vera to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 9th minute, Joeri Donderwinkel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Cristian Sancho recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 10th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 14 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Raymond Schouten. NFC Eagles 22's Ciccio Tacconi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristian Sancho in the 15th minute of play. 16 minutes into the match, NFC Eagles 22's 盛世 高文竞 sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Julio Vera narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Daniel Zorita struck a weak shot in the 17th minute. Ciccio Tacconi didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ecuador. 20 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jaap Zuidam. Ciccio Tacconi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniel Zorita, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of NFC Eagles 22 booed when Ecuador was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luis Andino didn't get a good kick on the ball. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from 盛世 高文竞 in the 24th minute of play. 25 minutes into the game, NFC Eagles 22's 盛世 高文竞 nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Julio Vera made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Ciccio Tacconi stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Cristian Sancho's shot from short distance in the 29th minute. When Antonio Arias fell near the penalty area in the 32nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ecuador's protests and gave Antonio Arias a yellow card for diving instead. 32 minutes into the game, one of Ecuador:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Laurens Knol kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. Ciccio Tacconi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniel Zorita in the 36th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Raymond Schouten got free with Julio Vera in the 38th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After some fancy dribbling in the 40th minute, 盛世 高文竞 managed to get in a good position for a shot. NFC Eagles 22's supporters rose to their feet, but 盛世 高文竞 was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Julio Vera breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 43 minutes into the match, 盛世 高文竞 had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Julio Vera. Ecuador's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that 盛世 高文竞 was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. In the 46th minute, 盛世 高文竞 ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Julio Vera was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and 盛世 高文竞 made a kick off. 52 minutes into the game, 盛世 高文竞 cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-0. Julio Vera was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Luis Andino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from 盛世 高文竞, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. 66 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when 盛世 高文竞 came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. NFC Eagles 22's Ciccio Tacconi proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 67th minute of the match, managed to save NFC Eagles 22 from getting a goal against them. In the 68th minute Ecuador were awarded a corner. Daniel Zorita went to the cornerflag to take it. The supporters of Ecuador booed when NFC Eagles 22 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Emil Houwing didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ciccio Tacconi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristian Sancho in the 76th minute of play. Thanks to some nice moves Cristian Sancho could shoot a difficult shot in the 77th minute, which Ciccio Tacconi however easily saved by the left post. If Daniel Zorita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 85 minutes into the match, NFC Eagles 22's goalkeeper Ciccio Tacconi had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cristian Sancho. Raymond Schouten received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Julio Vera tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 95 minutes, Cristian Sancho managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ecuador's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cristian Sancho was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ecuador's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
