Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Tomas Illescas made the kick off and thus started the match. After a defensive mix-up in Venezuela's zone, Cyryl Brytka stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jonathan Ferrant came out of the goal and Cyryl Brytka tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 18th minute, Tomas Illescas made a precise shot to the right of Wasyl Sidorowicz. Karpaty Krosno's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Tomas Illescas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Cyryl Brytka might have been able to make a better finish in the 33rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jonathan Ferrant. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Cyryl Brytka ran back to his position shaking his head. When Andrzej Kapelski fell near the penalty area in the 34th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Karpaty Krosno's protests and gave Andrzej Kapelski a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Karpaty Krosno getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Andrzej Kapelski hit a great ball. 37 minutes into the match, Venezuela's Tomas Illescas sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Wasyl Sidorowicz narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Mateusz Kochanowicz during the 38th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Benedykt Ranowiecki made a kick off. The supporters of Venezuela booed when Karpaty Krosno was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Andrzej Kapelski didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Tomas Illescas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Benedykt Ranowiecki took the ball and in the 56 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jonathan Ferrant. Jonathan Ferrant dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-3. Karpaty Krosno's Wasyl Sidorowicz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tomas Illescas in the 60th minute of play. A collision led to Karpaty Krosno getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Mateusz Kochanowicz hit a great ball. Tomas Illescas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 63rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 64 played minutes Karpaty Krosno got a freekick which was hit by Andrzej Kapelski. Patricio Costa was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 68th minute. Venezuela's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. In the 69th minute, Tomas Illescas got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Wasyl Sidorowicz made a fantastic save in the 71st minute, when Tomas Illescas sent off a good shot on target. Tomas Illescas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Karpaty Krosno's Wasyl Sidorowicz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tomas Illescas in the 84th minute of play. Venezuela's Tomas Illescas got a good chance for a goal in the 85th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Venezuela's Patricio Costa got a free kick in the 91st minute.
