Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Zézinho Lopez kicked off to start the match. Sport Club Mavericks's Marcelo Gröhe played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristian Sancho in the 3rd minute of play. In the 5thth minute of the game Cristian Sancho who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Sport Club Mavericks's Marcelo Gröhe was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. A nice corner shot did that Daniel Zorita got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Marcelo Gröhe quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 13th minute the ball was on its way in behind Sport Club Mavericks's goalkeeper Marcelo Gröhe, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 14th minute Ecuador were awarded a corner. Daniel Zorita went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led to Ecuador's Juan Sebastián Puig getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. Marcelo Gröhe made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Zorita in the 17th minute of play. Sport Club Mavericks's Marcelo Gröhe played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Felix Montenegro in the 22nd minute of play. Ecuador were awarded a corner in the 23th minute after Sport Club Mavericks's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Daniel Zorita took the corner. After taking down the ball on Ecuador's corner Daniel Zorita fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Marcelo Gröhe quite easily take care of the ball. Felix Montenegro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 30 minutes into the match, Ecuador's Felix Montenegro sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Marcelo Gröhe narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 30 played minutes Felix Montenegro shot from long distance. At first the shot seemed to be simple for Sport Club Mavericks's Marcelo Gröhe to catch but Felix Montenegro was lucky. It became 0-2 after the goalkeeper had been careless and dropped the ball into goal. Sport Club Mavericks made a substitution. Zhuo Yin Hong replaced Fernando Lucas. 34 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Zézinho Lopez. Cristian Sancho blasted a shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Marcelo Gröhe having to make a save. Marcelo Gröhe took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristian Sancho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Marcelo Gröhe showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luis Andino in the 38th minute of the match. In the 38thth minute of the game Luis Andino who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Sport Club Mavericks's Marcelo Gröhe was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When Sport Club Mavericks's Zhuo Yin Hong in the 41st minute got a chance for a shot 41st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Ecuador's goalie prevented a goal. If Zhuo Yin Hong had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 45 minutes into the match, Sport Club Mavericks's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Zorita came free, but Marcelo Gröhe reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Sport Club Mavericks players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Ecuador were winning 0-2.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Daniel Zorita to strike the kick off in the second half. Zézinho Lopez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Marcelo Gröhe made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristian Sancho in the 55th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Dre Schipmans in the 56th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Julio Vera saved Ecuador from getting behind. Marcos Almeida was shown his second yellow card after 74 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. After a rather tough play, Sport Club Mavericks's Marcos Almeida got a free kick in the 74th minute. Dre Schipmans's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Julio Vera read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 80th minute of play. The Sport Club Mavericks fans' excitement grew in the 84th match minute when Sport Club Mavericks's Dre Schipmans looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 87th minute Cristian Sancho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcelo Gröhe saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 88 minutes into the game, Sport Club Mavericks's Dre Schipmans nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Julio Vera made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-2. In the 91st minute, Dre Schipmans made a precise shot to the right of Julio Vera. Ecuador's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-2. In the 95th minute of the game Camilo Gisbert made a throw-in which Luis Andino played forward. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. Sport Club Mavericks were victorious despite being under pressure from Ecuador for much of the match.
