Felix Montenegro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 4th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Emil Trillkott received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Julio Vera tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ecuador's Agustín Saelices got a good chance for a goal in the 10th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Emil Trillkott could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 14th minute of the match, but Julio Vera made a huge save. If Cristian Sancho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mazinho Borges got free with Julio Vera in the 18th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Mazinho Borges in the 23rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Julio Vera prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 24th minute of the match Odens Boys Bollklubb got a corner. Ecuador's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Fritz Öberg ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Fritz Öberg got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Julio Vera quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Daniel Zorita fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kristian Vallander having to interfere. After having played for 28 minutes, Daniel Zorita managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ecuador's supporters crossed their fingers, but Daniel Zorita was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 29 minutes into the match, Mazinho Borges notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Ecuador's Julio Vera. Julio Vera was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The corner led Ecuador's Daniel Zorita to fire away a dangerous shot which Kristian Vallander despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Ecuador were awarded a corner in the 40th minute after Odens Boys Bollklubb's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Daniel Zorita took the corner. The corner led Ecuador's Daniel Zorita to fire away a dangerous shot which Kristian Vallander despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Kristian Vallander showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luis Andino in the 40th minute of the match. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Daniel Zorita was the one to do the kick off. 55 minutes into the game, Daniel Zorita cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Kristian Vallander was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 58th match minute, Odens Boys Bollklubb was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Henric Vinström to maneuver through the defense. Odens Boys Bollklubb's Kristian Vallander proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 62nd minute of the match, managed to save Odens Boys Bollklubb from getting a goal against them. Daniel Zorita received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Kristian Vallander came out and tried to block the shot, but Daniel Zorita slotted it home off the left post making it 1-2 in the 62nd minute. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mazinho Borges in the 65th minute of play. Kristian Vallander made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cristian Sancho in the 66th minute. In the 77th minute, Claes Friberger hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Kristian Vallander made a fantastic save in the 77th minute, when Daniel Zorita sent off a good shot on target. After a rather tough play, Odens Boys Bollklubb's Emil Trillkott got a free kick in the 81st minute. 85 minutes had been played when some careless play by Ecuador's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Fritz Öberg was slow to take the kick. During this time Odens Boys Bollklubb's players had a chance to rest. The corner ended in Fritz Öberg almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Ecuador's Julio Vera did a great save. A collision led to Ecuador getting a freekick after 86 minutes play. Luis Andino hit a great ball. Ecuador's Daniel Zorita was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Kristian Vallander in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. When Cristian Sancho, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 90 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Kristian Vallander was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. 94 minutes into the match, Emil Trillkott notched a goal, 2-2, to the right of Ecuador's Julio Vera. Julio Vera was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it.
