The corner led Australian Youth Academy's Roy Baba to fire away a dangerous shot which Valério Valido despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. With a little luck, Australian Youth Academy's Keylor Navas got control of the ball when Krisztián Matolcsy tried to sneak it across the goal line. Valério Valido made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Garth Brough in the 25th minute of play. In the 26th minute of the match Australian Youth Academy got a corner. AC MILAN 1899's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Cesar Cornelius ran over to the corner to take the kick. After 29 played minutes Australian Youth Academy got a freekick which was hit by Rufus Roach. AC MILAN 1899's Valério Valido played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Garth Brough in the 32nd minute of play. After a rather tough play, Australian Youth Academy's Ellis Hoskin got a free kick in the 33rd minute. Emilian Gagiu hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. Valério Valido showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Garth Brough in the 38th minute of the match. In the 42nd minute, Garth Brough left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Australian Youth Academy fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. The audience was convinced that Garth Brough's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Valério Valido was relentless in the 46th minute of the game. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Emilian Gagiu was the one to do the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Velislav Nikushev in the 52nd minute of play forced Australian Youth Academy's goalkeeper Keylor Navas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Garth Brough sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 56 minutes into the match, AC MILAN 1899's goalkeeper Valério Valido had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Garth Brough. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Keylor Navas prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The audience was convinced that Emilian Gagiu's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Keylor Navas was relentless in the 63rd minute of the game. After 64 minutes Australian Youth Academy's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was 雷正挺 who took care of the corner kick. The corner led to AC MILAN 1899's Gancho Shentov getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. After a defensive mix-up in AC MILAN 1899's zone, Garth Brough stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Valério Valido came out of the goal and Garth Brough tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 70th minute 雷正挺 shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Keylor Navas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. AC MILAN 1899's Valério Valido played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Garth Brough in the 75th minute of play. Valério Valido stood somewhat misplaced when Garth Brough came free in front of goal and shot 0-4 to the left of him in the 97 minute.
