Spectators: 43 (Terracing: 33, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Joel Gaona started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. After a rather tough play, Hisingstads BK's Zézinho Vasconcelos got a free kick in the 2nd minute. 5 minutes into the match, Joel Gaona notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Hisingstads BK's Tor Holm. Tor Holm was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Hisingstads BK's Erik Friberg was substituted for Martin Palmquist. After a rather tough play, Mexico's Felix Luque got a free kick in the 12th minute. In the 13th minute, Mexico's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Szymon Parzysz fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. With his leg Dante Lacasa managed to avoid a goal in the 14thth minute, when Hisingstads BK's Szymon Parzysz fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Tor Holm took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joel Gaona, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Anders Kruse in the 25th minute of play forced Mexico's goalkeeper Dante Lacasa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 28 minutes into the match, Mexico's goalkeeper Dante Lacasa had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Erik Friberg. Tor Holm showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luca Zorita, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. In the 36th minute Mexico were awarded a corner. Joel Gaona went to the cornerflag to take it. Joel Gaona made a great header on Mexico's corner, it was just that Hisingstads BK's Tor Holm managed to reach the ball for a save. In the 36th minute Facundo Cadaval shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tor Holm saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Anders Kruse stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Mexico's Dante Lacasa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Szymon Parzysz in the 59th minute of play. Dante Lacasa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Szymon Parzysz, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. With an all-out effort, Mexico's Tor Holm threw himself towards the right post 64 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Joel Gaona, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. After 65 played minutes Hisingstads BK got a freekick which was hit by Jasper Gerseke. In the 69th minute Anders Kruse shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dante Lacasa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Joel Gaona's late challenge caught a Hisingstads BK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Joel Gaona helped the player get up and apologised. Joel Gaona kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. The supporters of Hisingstads BK booed when Mexico was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Joel Gaona didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 78th minute of the match Hisingstads BK got a corner. Mexico's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Zézinho Vasconcelos ran over to the corner to take the kick. In the 79th minute, Lorenzo Cazalla hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Zézinho Vasconcelos came up free with the goalie in the 80th minute, the Hisingstads BK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Zézinho Vasconcelos couldn't finish the play. Felix Luque hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. After recieving a nice pass, Hisingstads BK's Zézinho Vasconcelos tried to score from far away in the 84th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Alberto Tafalla got free with Tor Holm in the 85th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Erik Friberg charged in rather forcefully in the 86th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Erik Friberg the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 86th match minute, Hisingstads BK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Erik Friberg to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luca Zorita in the 94th minute of play forced Hisingstads BK's goalkeeper Tor Holm to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
