After 85 minutes of play, A.A. Cachila's Rodrigo Astudillo made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Cachila's Gustavo Hartz proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 90th minute of the match, managed to save A.A. Cachila from getting a goal against them. A.A. Cachila's defense didn't have a chance, in the 97th minute, when Antonio Tenorio scored to the left of an out of position Gustavo Hartz, making the score, 3-2. Peru's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because A.A. Cachila had won, even though Peru had held more of the ball.
