Ian Fenomeni's goalkeeper Cristiano Granata, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 6th minute of the match Santa Lucia de Merlo got a corner. A.S. Ian Fenomeni's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Levan Poggenborg ran over to the corner to take the kick. M. Agus Young might have been able to make a better finish in the 7th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Cristiano Granata. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. M. Agus Young ran back to his position shaking his head. Cristiano Granata made an important save on a dangerous shot by M. Agus Young in the 7th minute. 9 minutes into the match, Santa Lucia de Merlo's goal looked a bit too open when Rodrigue Léonard came free, but Florentino Herauso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A.S. Ian Fenomeni's Damiano De Santis was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Florentino Herauso in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. 14 minutes into the match, Gani Pamirhan had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Florentino Herauso. Santa Lucia de Merlo's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gani Pamirhan was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Florentino Herauso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gani Pamirhan in the 20th minute of play. 27 minutes into the match, Santa Lucia de Merlo's goal looked a bit too open when Dino Palmisano came free, but Florentino Herauso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the A.S. Ian Fenomeni defense, M. Agus Young kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Cristiano Granata. The A.S. Ian Fenomeni fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Cristiano Granata should have stopped the shot. Florentino Herauso took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rodrigue Léonard, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dino Palmisano might have been able to make a better finish in the 47th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Florentino Herauso. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Dino Palmisano ran back to his position shaking his head. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

In the 52nd minute of the match, Rodrigue Léonard tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Florentino Herauso saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Florentino Herauso was a little too slow when Rodrigue Léonard got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 52nd minute. The score was now 1-2. Florentino Herauso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rodrigue Léonard, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. The supporters of Santa Lucia de Merlo booed when A.S. Ian Fenomeni was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rodrigue Léonard didn't get a good kick on the ball. Santa Lucia de Merlo made a substitution. Polo Quinteros replaced M. Agus Young. A collision led to A.S. Ian Fenomeni getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Rodrigue Léonard hit a great ball. 67 minutes into the match, Santa Lucia de Merlo's Polo Quinteros sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Cristiano Granata narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Santa Lucia de Merlo's Florentino Herauso proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 68th minute of the match, managed to save Santa Lucia de Merlo from getting a goal against them. Polo Quinteros's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Cristiano Granata read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 70th minute of play. In the 77th minute Rodrigue Léonard shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Florentino Herauso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Florentino Herauso stood somewhat misplaced when Dino Palmisano came free in front of goal and shot 2-3 to the left of him in the 80 minute. Santa Lucia de Merlo's Florentino Herauso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rodrigue Léonard in the 88th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Gani Pamirhan's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Florentino Herauso was relentless in the 89th minute of the game. When the match clock showed 91 minutes, the score became 2-4 when Gani Pamirhan sped through Santa Lucia de Merlo's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Florentino Herauso. Polo Quinteros fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cristiano Granata having to interfere. When the final whistle sounded A.S. Ian Fenomeni left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Santa Lucia de Merlo.
