Silvério Vasconcelos could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 7th minute of the match, but Igor Cordaro made a huge save. Rubim Jesus hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. Delfim Vilas Boas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jacobo Gabon in the 17th minute of the match. Pete Gomez hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. Nicolas Queirós sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 21 minutes into the match, MZ Fénix's Nicolas Queirós sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Igor Cordaro narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 23 minutes of play, Noqueces FC's Antônio Santos made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Delfim Vilas Boas was left in no man's land by his defense there! The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Antônio Santos stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Manuel Rego hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. Delfim Vilas Boas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Antônio Santos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 68th minute of the match, Joel Omero tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Delfim Vilas Boas saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joel Omero in the 75th minute of play forced MZ Fénix's goalkeeper Delfim Vilas Boas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Silvério Vasconcelos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Noqueces FC played a much better game than MZ Fénix and deserved their victory. The MZ Fénix players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
