The supporters of Los Gallos booed when Acercate Y Patea de Lejos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Severiano Venceslas didn't get a good kick on the ball. Acercate Y Patea de Lejos's Kraig Rowley was substituted for Federico Colas. Severiano Venceslas hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. Emilio Munio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marcos Abellan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Vladimiro Jerold in the 68th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Emilio Munio prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Severiano Venceslas hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. Los Gallos's Armando Porro quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Severiano Venceslas, made in the 78th minute of the game. Acercate Y Patea de Lejos's Emilio Munio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luís Fernando Negri in the 87th minute of play. 91 minutes into the match, Los Gallos's Vladimiro Jerold sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Emilio Munio narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Vladimiro Jerold had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute.
