Spectators: 573 (Terracing: 430, Seating: 132, VIP seats: 11) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Chico de Sousa started the match with the kick off. After some careless play in the Espen Steelers defense, Xu Li Sang kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Nikola Portner. The Espen Steelers fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Nikola Portner should have stopped the shot. Espen Steelers's Nikola Portner played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Chico de Sousa in the 9th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Albert Einstein in the 10th minute of play forced Jovens Democratas MZC's goalkeeper Dalmo Saldanha to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 10 minutes, Kurt Wüthrich mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Espen Steelers and the Jovens Democratas MZC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Kurt Wüthrich hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. Dobromir Zagrodny took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 11th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Nikola Portner. Espen Steelers's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. 13 minutes into the match, Jovens Democratas MZC's goalkeeper Dalmo Saldanha had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Kurt Wüthrich. In the 17th minute, Espen Steelers's Ştefan Lupea ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Dalmo Saldanha. Dalmo Saldanha yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-1. The Jovens Democratas MZC fans' excitement grew in the 22nd match minute when Jovens Democratas MZC's Durval de Queirós looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Nikola Portner showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dobromir Zagrodny in the 26th minute of the match. Salomone Weber hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. During the 32nd minute of the match Kurt Wüthrich completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Kurt Wüthrich a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. 39 minutes had been played when some careless play by Espen Steelers's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Dobromir Zagrodny was slow to take the kick. During this time Jovens Democratas MZC's players had a chance to rest. The corner ended in Xu Li Sang almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Espen Steelers's Nikola Portner did a great save. A collision led to Jovens Democratas MZC getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. David Puyol hit a great ball. Nikola Portner stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Xu Li Sang's shot from short distance in the 42nd minute. Ştefan Lupea could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 46th minute of the match, but Dalmo Saldanha made a huge save. 47 minutes had been played when some careless play by Jovens Democratas MZC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Albert Einstein was slow to take the kick. During this time Espen Steelers's players had a chance to rest.

The wind increased when Ştefan Lupea made the kick off in the second half. Carlinhos Tróia in the 57thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Nikola Portner, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. When Espen Steelers's Albert Einstein in the 62nd minute got a chance for a shot 62nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. After 72 played minutes Jovens Democratas MZC got a freekick which was hit by Ian Sarmento. Ştefan Lupea received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Dalmo Saldanha tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With his leg Nikola Portner managed to avoid a goal in the 76thth minute, when Jovens Democratas MZC's Serginho Sabóia fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Nikola Portner showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dobromir Zagrodny, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. When Dobromir Zagrodny came up free with the goalie in the 79th minute, the Jovens Democratas MZC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dobromir Zagrodny couldn't finish the play. In the 85th minute Chico de Sousa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nikola Portner saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Nikola Portner showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dobromir Zagrodny in the 87th minute of the match. After having played for 88 minutes, Xu Li Sang managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Jovens Democratas MZC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Xu Li Sang was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Jovens Democratas MZC's Dalmo Saldanha played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dominik Sauerberg in the 92nd minute of play. A nice corner shot did that Dobromir Zagrodny got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Nikola Portner quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save.
