Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Tomas Illescas took the kick off in the first half of the match. 7 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Trayan Davchev came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 8 minutes had been played when some careless play by Venezuela's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Nicasio Demario was slow to take the kick. During this time Juventud Antoniana's players had a chance to rest. Lobo Lobo made a great header on Juventud Antoniana's corner, it was just that Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant managed to reach the ball for a save. When the match clock showed 10 minutes, the score became 1-0 when Eugenio Abeitia sped through Venezuela's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. After 14 played minutes Juventud Antoniana got a freekick which was hit by Abraham Reinhard. The supporters of Venezuela booed when Juventud Antoniana was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lobo Lobo didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 26th minute the ball was on its way in behind Juventud Antoniana's goalkeeper Baldomero Shantala, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Trayan Davchev sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Venezuela getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Jose Correa hit a great ball. 36 minutes into the match, Juventud Antoniana's Eugenio Abeitia sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jonathan Ferrant narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Trayan Davchev in the 40th minute of play. Lobo Lobo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 47th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

After having played for 53 minutes, Trayan Davchev managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Juventud Antoniana's supporters crossed their fingers, but Trayan Davchev was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 59th match minute, Venezuela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Salvador Gisbert to maneuver through the defense. Abraham Reinhard charged in rather forcefully in the 65th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Abraham Reinhard the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 65th match minute, Juventud Antoniana was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Abraham Reinhard to maneuver through the defense. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jonathan Venegas during the 67th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Trayan Davchev fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonathan Ferrant having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Patricio Costa during the 85th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Camilo Gaos charged in rather forcefully in the 90th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Camilo Gaos the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eugenio Abeitia in the 94th minute of play.
