Spectators: 41 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Tomas Illescas made the kick off which started today's match. In the 2nd minute, Tomas Illescas made a precise shot to the right of Filip Mirciulescu. BVB 09's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. After a defensive mix-up in BVB 09's zone, Patricio Costa stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Filip Mirciulescu came out of the goal and Patricio Costa tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Filip Mirciulescu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tomas Illescas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 16 played minutes BVB 09 got a freekick which was hit by Sorin Lupeanu. After a rather tough play, Venezuela's Guillermo Mariano got a free kick in the 18th minute. Tomas Illescas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Filip Mirciulescu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 25th minute Tomas Illescas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Filip Mirciulescu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 26 minutes into the game, Tomas Illescas cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Filip Mirciulescu was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Jonathan Ferrant was out of position in the 32 minute of play, and Marian Morovan capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Marian Morovan really showed his touch with that goal: 1-2. A collision led to BVB 09 getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Sorin Lupeanu hit a great ball. Tomas Illescas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Filip Mirciulescu having to interfere. In the 43rd minute, Sorin Lupeanu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jose Correa during the 45th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Venezuela getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Jose Correa hit a great ball. Valeriu Blaj's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jonathan Ferrant read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 46th minute of play. After the first half Venezuela were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Dragoş Ivasiuc was the one to do the kick off. After a defensive mix-up in BVB 09's zone, Joshua Secada stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Filip Mirciulescu came out of the goal and Joshua Secada tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 55th minute, Călin Olăroiu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 63 minutes into the match, BVB 09's goalkeeper Filip Mirciulescu had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Tomas Illescas. Tomas Illescas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Filip Mirciulescu having to interfere. After having played for 76 minutes, Tomas Illescas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Venezuela's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tomas Illescas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Patricio Costa might have been able to make a better finish in the 77th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Filip Mirciulescu. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Patricio Costa ran back to his position shaking his head. When the match had gone on for 82 minutes, Patricio Costa took a quick shot and it went in 2-3 without a chance for Filip Mirciulescu to make any attempt to save it. Tomas Illescas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Filip Mirciulescu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 90 minutes, Tomas Illescas made it 2-4 with a short kick to the right side. BVB 09's Filip Mirciulescu tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Venezuela's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
