Spectators: 39 (Terracing: 30, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Froilan Guzman started the match with the kick off. The supporters of Panama booed when Piuke was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Benito Quin didn't get a good kick on the ball. 9 minutes into the match, Panama's goal looked a bit too open when Eloy Steven came free, but Marcos Cotilla reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 10 minutes Panama's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Isaac Madaleno who took care of the corner kick. Isaac Madaleno made a great header on Piuke's corner, it was just that Panama's Marcos Cotilla managed to reach the ball for a save. The supporters of Piuke booed when Panama was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Matthew Garrido didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Tomas Berganza came up free with the goalie in the 17th minute, the Panama fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tomas Berganza couldn't finish the play. Isidoro Sarmiento recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 19th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Piuke's Prudencio Gonchan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Abraham Alguacil in the 22nd minute of play. In the 23rd minute, Lino Gurutz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a little luck, Panama's Marcos Cotilla got control of the ball when Eloy Steven tried to sneak it across the goal line. Abraham Alguacil blasted a shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Prudencio Gonchan having to make a save. In the 44th match minute, Piuke was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Federico Cristos to maneuver through the defense. Tomas Berganza received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Prudencio Gonchan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Panama's Isidoro Sarmiento got a good chance for a goal in the 47th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

In the 54th minute Froilan Guzman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcos Cotilla saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Marcos Cotilla took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eloy Steven, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Isidoro Sarmiento had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 62nd minute, Isidoro Sarmiento hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Abraham Alguacil could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 76th minute of the match, but Prudencio Gonchan made a huge save. A nice corner shot did that Abraham Alguacil got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Prudencio Gonchan quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Aaron Barrios hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. Tomas Berganza fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Prudencio Gonchan having to interfere.
