Spectators: 41 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Julian Murillo got the match started through his kick off. Julian Murillo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Garibaldo Quijana read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 3rd minute of play. 5 minutes into the match, Peru's Eliseo Mina sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Garibaldo Quijana narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Garibaldo Quijana showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Julian Murillo, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. 7 minutes into the match, Julian Murillo notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Fillos de Breogán's Garibaldo Quijana. Garibaldo Quijana was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 12 minutes into the match, Fillos de Breogán's goal looked a bit too open when Julian Murillo came free, but Garibaldo Quijana reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rolando Noboa made a fantastic save in the 16th minute, when Domeka Paredes sent off a good shot on target. Garibaldo Quijana made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Julian Murillo in the 22nd minute of play. Rolando Noboa made an important save on a dangerous shot by Orti Sánchez in the 31st minute. Julian Murillo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Garibaldo Quijana read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 34th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Fillos de Breogán's Gabriel Bogatu got a free kick in the 46th minute. After the first half Peru were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Orti Sánchez was the one to do the kick off. Fillos de Breogán's defense didn't have a chance, in the 51st minute, when Julian Murillo scored to the left of an out of position Garibaldo Quijana, making the score, 0-2. 57 minutes into the match, Fillos de Breogán's goalkeeper Garibaldo Quijana had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Milagros Fraga. Fillos de Breogán made a substitution. Xesus Galaiko replaced Calisto Abril. In the 59th minute of the match Peru got a corner. Fillos de Breogán's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Luz Tejedor ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Julian Murillo got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Garibaldo Quijana quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 62nd match minute, Fillos de Breogán was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Xabat Armada to maneuver through the defense. Fillos de Breogán made a substitution. Veremundo Caballero replaced Oto Gómez. Garibaldo Quijana acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 64th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Emmanuel Reyes. Orti Sánchez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rolando Noboa having to interfere. In the 71st minute Orti Sánchez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rolando Noboa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Garibaldo Quijana made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Julian Murillo in the 78th minute of play. Peru's Antonio Tenorio was substituted for Luz Tejedor. Peru's Rafael Gallo was substituted for Julian Murillo. 86 minutes into the game, Veremundo Caballero threw the ball into play from the sideline. Peru's Eliseo Mina quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. 86 minutes into the match, Peru's Rafael Gallo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Garibaldo Quijana narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 89 minutes had been played when some careless play by Fillos de Breogán's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Eliseo Mina was slow to take the kick. During this time Peru's players had a chance to rest. The corner led Peru's Antonio Tenorio to fire away a dangerous shot which Garibaldo Quijana despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Rafael Gallo got free with Garibaldo Quijana in the 90th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Peru were awarded a corner in the 92th minute after Fillos de Breogán's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Eliseo Mina took the corner. Antonio Tenorio was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. Rolando Noboa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Orti Sánchez, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. When the final whistle sounded Peru left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Fillos de Breogán.
