Julian Murillo started the match with the kick off. Milagros Fraga recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 5th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luz Tejedor in the 8th minute of play forced Fillos de Breogán's goalkeeper Garibaldo Quijana to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The corner ended in Luz Tejedor almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Fillos de Breogán's Garibaldo Quijana did a great save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eliseo Mina in the 19th minute of play forced Fillos de Breogán's goalkeeper Garibaldo Quijana to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Garibaldo Quijana showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Julian Murillo in the 21st minute of the match. In the 22nd match minute, Peru was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Efraim Gilabert to maneuver through the defense. 27 minutes had been played when some careless play by Fillos de Breogán's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Luz Tejedor was slow to take the kick. During this time Peru's players had a chance to rest. Thanks to some nice moves Orti Sánchez could shoot a difficult shot in the 29th minute, which Rolando Noboa however easily saved by the left post. 35 minutes into the game, Julian Murillo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Garibaldo Quijana was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When Julian Murillo came up free with the goalie in the 38th minute, the Peru fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Julian Murillo couldn't finish the play. 41 minutes into the match, Fillos de Breogán's goal looked a bit too open when Eliseo Mina came free, but Garibaldo Quijana reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 43 minutes into the game, Duardo Montero threw the ball into play from the sideline. Peru's Eliseo Mina quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. In the 45th match minute, Fillos de Breogán was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Domeka Paredes to maneuver through the defense. 46 minutes into the game, Peru's Julian Murillo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Garibaldo Quijana made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Orti Sánchez stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The audience thought a goal was coming when Julian Murillo got free with Garibaldo Quijana in the 51st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Julian Murillo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Garibaldo Quijana tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Rolando Noboa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Calisto Abril in the 58th minute of the match. A sloppy throw-in by Veremundo Caballero in the 71st minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Peru's Eliseo Mina. 73 minutes into the match, Fillos de Breogán's goal looked a bit too open when Julian Murillo came free, but Garibaldo Quijana reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Domeka Paredes during the 76th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Domeka Paredes hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. Garibaldo Quijana was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Julian Murillo showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-4 in the 80 minute of play. Peru's Eliseo Alcocer was substituted for Moises Gayoso. Peru made a substitution. Rafael Gallo replaced Julian Murillo. After a defensive mix-up in Peru's zone, Orti Sánchez stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rolando Noboa came out of the goal and Orti Sánchez tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Garibaldo Quijana showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rafael Gallo, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. After having played for 92 minutes, Rafael Gallo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Peru's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rafael Gallo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Duardo Montero hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. Gabriel Bogatu kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match. Rafael Gallo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Garibaldo Quijana read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 96th minute of play. When the match was over Peru could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Fillos de Breogán throughout the match.
