Spectators: 42 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when László Madaras took the kick off in the first half of the match. Honduras's Edmundo Espiga got a good chance for a goal in the 2nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Fortuna Balassagyarmat FC's zone, Edmundo Espiga stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Attila Mesterházy came out of the goal and Edmundo Espiga tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Sebastian Villa came up free with the goalie in the 8th minute, the Honduras fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sebastian Villa couldn't finish the play. A collision led to Honduras getting a freekick after 9 minutes play. Sebastian Villa hit a great ball. When the match had gone on for 13 minutes, Karel Suryoprayogo took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Lautaro Navarro to make any attempt to save it. Attila Mesterházy showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edmundo Espiga in the 17th minute of the match. Attila Mesterházy made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sebastian Villa in the 19th minute of play. After 20 played minutes Honduras got a freekick which was hit by Edmundo Espiga. In the 21st of the match, László Madaras tried to place the ball in the upper right corner, but Lautaro Navarro got in the way and made a wonderful save. Edmundo Espiga fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Attila Mesterházy having to interfere. After 27 played minutes Fortuna Balassagyarmat FC got a freekick which was hit by László Madaras. After 30 played minutes Fortuna Balassagyarmat FC got a freekick which was hit by Mátyás Virág. When Honduras's Edmundo Espiga in the 32nd minute got a chance for a shot 32nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Fortuna Balassagyarmat FC's goalie prevented a goal. In the 37th minute, Edmundo Espiga ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Attila Mesterházy was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Moises Tafalla sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Honduras's Lautaro Navarro proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 42nd minute of the match, managed to save Honduras from getting a goal against them. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Edmundo Espiga made a kick off. Attila Mesterházy made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edmundo Espiga in the 53rd minute of play. 56 minutes into the match, Fortuna Balassagyarmat FC's goal looked a bit too open when Edmundo Espiga came free, but Attila Mesterházy reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Lautaro Navarro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from László Madaras, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Patrik Béres fell near the penalty area in the 66th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Fortuna Balassagyarmat FC's protests and gave Patrik Béres a yellow card for diving instead. Fortuna Balassagyarmat FC made a substitution. László Csank replaced Christian Kilstedt. After 67 played minutes Fortuna Balassagyarmat FC got a freekick which was hit by Patrik Béres. Honduras's Edmundo Espiga couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 68th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Fortuna Balassagyarmat FC. In the 71st minute Sebastian Villa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Attila Mesterházy saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Fortuna Balassagyarmat FC's Calistrat Tomulescu was substituted for Karel Suryoprayogo. The throw-in from Zsombor Medve in the 78th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Honduras's Christian Sancho. Edmundo Espiga fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Attila Mesterházy having to interfere. After having played for 86 minutes, Sebastian Villa managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Honduras's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sebastian Villa was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Ivan Navarro fell near the penalty area in the 91st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Honduras's protests and gave Ivan Navarro a yellow card for diving instead. Ivan Navarro kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. Honduras's Valentín Carvallo quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Marin Manea, made in the 95th minute of the game.
