Spectators: 39 (Terracing: 30, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Jaime Pardo started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Jörgen Bjurström succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-0 in the 2nd playminute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jörgen Bjurström in the 5th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jacobo Nores saved Paraguay from getting behind. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jörgen Bjurström got free with Jacobo Nores in the 8th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The supporters of Nils Liedholm IF booed when Paraguay was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jaime Pardo didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 17th minute Hector Covarrubias shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ove Hake saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 20th minute, Jörgen Bjurström managed to get in a good position for a shot. Nils Liedholm IF's supporters rose to their feet, but Jörgen Bjurström was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jacobo Nores breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ove Hake made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jaime Pardo in the 25th minute of play. Hector Covarrubias received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Ove Hake tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Zebastian Österlund received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Jacobo Nores came out and tried to block the shot, but Zebastian Österlund slotted it home off the left post making it 2-0 in the 28th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jörgen Bjurström in the 32nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jacobo Nores saved Paraguay from getting behind. After a rather tough play, Paraguay's Alan Campos got a free kick in the 44th minute. 45 minutes into the match, Nils Liedholm IF's Kalle Norström sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jacobo Nores narrowly saved just below the crossbar. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Jörgen Bjurström was the one to do the kick off. Jaime Pardo's late challenge caught a Nils Liedholm IF's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jaime Pardo helped the player get up and apologised. Jaime Pardo hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jörgen Bjurström in the 63rd minute of play forced Paraguay's goalkeeper Jacobo Nores to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ove Hake made a fantastic save in the 67th minute, when Jaime Pardo sent off a good shot on target. In the 74th minute of the match, Jaime Pardo got a very nice opportunity to score, but Ove Hake was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. In the 75th minute, Jörgen Bjurström ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jacobo Nores was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. 78 minutes into the game, Nils Liedholm IF's Birger Kleen nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jacobo Nores made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-0. In the 80th match minute, Nils Liedholm IF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zebastian Österlund to maneuver through the defense. Marc Juhlin lost his temper 82 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. The goalkeeper, Ove Hake, was totally fooled by Paraguay's Jaime Pardo, who 84 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. After a rather tough play, Nils Liedholm IF's Birger Kleen got a free kick in the 92nd minute. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. Nils Liedholm IF were victorious despite being under pressure from Paraguay for much of the match.
