Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Mexico's Joel Gaona started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Dante Lacasa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from David Jönsätt in the 5th minute of the match. In the 7th minute of the match AFC Nirosxn 08 got a corner. Mexico's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Emil Atanasiu ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led to AFC Nirosxn 08's Laurențiu Todericiu getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. Ştefan Bogrea kicked well hit freekick during the 10th minute of the match. Mugurel Slătineanu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alberto Tafalla in the 11th minute of play. In the 12th minute of the match Mexico got a corner. AFC Nirosxn 08's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Joel Gaona ran over to the corner to take the kick. Lautaro Mancebo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mugurel Slătineanu having to interfere. If Alberto Tafalla had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 24th minute, Ştefan Bogrea hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Joel Gaona scored 0-1 in the 25th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Mugurel Slătineanu, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 28th minute, Ionică Savu left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The AFC Nirosxn 08 fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Dante Lacasa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from David Jönsätt in the 31st minute of play. After a rather tough play, AFC Nirosxn 08's Doru Şelaru got a free kick in the 34th minute. In the 35th minute of the match Joel Gaona sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Mugurel Slătineanu skillfully saved the ball. 45 minutes into the match, Mexico's goalkeeper Dante Lacasa had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ştefan Bogrea. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ionică Savu made a kick off. AFC Nirosxn 08's Mugurel Slătineanu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 51st minute of the match, managed to save AFC Nirosxn 08 from getting a goal against them. Dante Lacasa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Emil Atanasiu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Mugurel Slătineanu made an important save on a dangerous shot by Lautaro Mancebo in the 55th minute. The supporters of AFC Nirosxn 08 booed when Mexico was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leonardo Leoz didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ştefan Bogrea in the 61st minute of play forced Mexico's goalkeeper Dante Lacasa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ionică Savu in the 61st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Dante Lacasa saved Mexico from getting behind. 62 minutes into the match, Mexico's goal looked a bit too open when Emil Atanasiu came free, but Dante Lacasa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When AFC Nirosxn 08's Ionică Savu in the 62nd minute got a chance for a shot 62nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Mexico's goalie prevented a goal. A nice corner shot did that Emil Atanasiu got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Dante Lacasa quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Lautaro Mancebo came free with the goalkeeper in the 65th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Mugurel Slătineanu could save by the left post. In the 66th minute David Jönsätt shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dante Lacasa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
