With a couple of smart ball manuevers Marco Dias in the 12th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Leonardo Paz saved Palmares Futebol Clube from getting behind. After 13 minutes Palmares Futebol Clube's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Hílton Toscano who took care of the corner kick. The corner led ≮王者归来≯News at 11's Hílton Toscano to fire away a dangerous shot which Leonardo Paz despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as ≮王者归来≯News at 11's Marco Dias slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Leonardo Paz. That made the score 1-0 after 16 minutes of play. In the 19th minute the ball was on its way in behind Palmares Futebol Clube's goalkeeper Leonardo Paz, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Leonardo Paz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marco Dias in the 40th minute of the match. 41 minutes into the match, ≮王者归来≯News at 11's goal looked a bit too open when João Vítor Sena came free, but Ernani Oliveira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Palmares Futebol Clube's Leonardo Paz proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 43rd minute of the match, managed to save Palmares Futebol Clube from getting a goal against them. 46 minutes into the match, João Vítor Sena notched a goal, 3-1, to the right of ≮王者归来≯News at 11's Ernani Oliveira. Ernani Oliveira was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The wind increased when Lester Nygaard made the kick off in the second half. Ismael Secco received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 51st minute. Ernani Oliveira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Luiz Eduardo Luz hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. Palmares Futebol Clube's João Carlos Antunes was substituted for Jarbas Porto. Palmares Futebol Clube made a substitution. A collision led to ≮王者归来≯News at 11 getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Mauro Antunes hit a great ball. Ricardo Barreto charged in rather forcefully in the 92nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ricardo Barreto the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play.
