In the 5th minute of the match Six Pac FC got a corner. Degerfors IF's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Ingmar Lundgren ran over to the corner to take the kick. If Hans Henriksson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Eric Ivarsson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hans Henriksson in the 9th minute of the match. In the 15th minute Lukas Örnberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lars-Erik Bergfelt saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that Torsten Kock's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Lars-Erik Bergfelt was relentless in the 17th minute of the game. After a defensive mix-up in Six Pac FC's zone, Ingvar Granberg stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lars-Erik Bergfelt came out of the goal and Ingvar Granberg tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Lars-Erik Bergfelt took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Torsten Kock, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 35 minutes into the match, Degerfors IF's goal looked a bit too open when Kurt Lövgren came free, but Eric Ivarsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Degerfors IF's Rudolf Högman got a free kick in the 36th minute. 46 minutes into the match, Degerfors IF's goal looked a bit too open when Billy Öman came free, but Eric Ivarsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The wind increased when Kurt Lövgren made the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Billy Öman in the 51st minute of play forced Degerfors IF's goalkeeper Eric Ivarsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 53rd minute, Gunnar Jönsson managed to get in a good position for a shot. Six Pac FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Gunnar Jönsson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Eric Ivarsson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Eric Ivarsson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hans Henriksson in the 55th minute of the match. In the 56th minute, Isak Termander hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Eric Ivarsson was a little too slow when Billy Öman got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 64th minute. The score was now 0-2. The supporters of Six Pac FC booed when Degerfors IF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Torsten Kock didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 68 minutes, Helge Alberg mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Degerfors IF and the Six Pac FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 68th match minute, Degerfors IF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Helge Alberg to maneuver through the defense. Billy Öman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Claes Stenman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Lars-Erik Bergfelt tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a little luck, Degerfors IF's Eric Ivarsson got control of the ball when Kurt Lövgren tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 88th minute, Torsten Kock got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 90 minutes of play, Degerfors IF's Lukas Örnberg made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Lars-Erik Bergfelt was left in no man's land by his defense there!

The Six Pac FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Six Pac FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
