Alessandro Verdecchia made a fantastic save in the 4th minute, when Dacian Jurăscu sent off a good shot on target. Dacian Jurăscu blasted a shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Alessandro Verdecchia having to make a save. Alessandro Verdecchia took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dacian Jurăscu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 14th match minute, Santoryu FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Emiliano Baldassarre to maneuver through the defense. Ciprian Gaiță kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. Anselmo Gabriele scored 0-1 in the 19th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ovidiu Marin, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Alessandro Verdecchia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dacian Jurăscu in the 25th minute of play. Dacian Jurăscus short, quick shot in the 26thth minute got Alessandro Verdecchia to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After 27 played minutes Santoryu FC got a freekick which was hit by Anselmo Gabriele. Santoryu FC's Alessandro Verdecchia proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 30th minute of the match, managed to save Santoryu FC from getting a goal against them. Emiliano Baldassarre was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 33 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Santoryu FC's Emiliano Baldassarre got a free kick in the 34th minute. Alessandro Verdecchia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aurel Lăceanu in the 35th minute of play. Alessandro Verdecchia showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dacian Jurăscu, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. After 41 minutes of play, FC Cosula-BTF-'s Dacian Jurăscu made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Alessandro Verdecchia was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 46th minute Dacian Jurăscu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alessandro Verdecchia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Dacian Jurăscu in the 66th minute of play forced Santoryu FC's goalkeeper Alessandro Verdecchia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 70 minutes into the match, FC Cosula-BTF-'s Dacian Jurăscu sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Alessandro Verdecchia narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Alessandro Verdecchia stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Dacian Jurăscu's shot from short distance in the 72nd minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Dario Giorgio during the 78th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of FC Cosula-BTF- booed when Santoryu FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dario Giorgio didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 79th match minute, Santoryu FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dario Giorgio to maneuver through the defense. Ovidiu Marin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alvise Iacobucci, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. In the 83rd minute of the match Santoryu FC got a corner. FC Cosula-BTF-'s goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Ermanno Di Giandomenico ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner went over the outstretched arms of FC Cosula-BTF-'s goalie and right to Ciro Punta. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. FC Cosula-BTF-'s manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. In the 84th minute, Aurel Lăceanu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 87 minutes into the game, FC Cosula-BTF-'s Filip Hosu nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Alessandro Verdecchia made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. After a defensive mix-up in Santoryu FC's zone, Dacian Jurăscu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alessandro Verdecchia came out of the goal and Dacian Jurăscu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Dacian Jurăscu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 93rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.

The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. FC Cosula-BTF- had won after a very even match.
