Genzo Wakabayashi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luca Zorita in the 26th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Lars-Erik Rolandsson got free with Dante Lacasa in the 28th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 31 minutes into the match, Joel Gaona notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of SOLO TÜRK's Genzo Wakabayashi. Genzo Wakabayashi was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. An unexpectedly hard shot by 史康磊 in the 35th minute of play forced Mexico's goalkeeper Dante Lacasa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. SOLO TÜRK's Genzo Wakabayashi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luca Zorita in the 40th minute of play. Lautaro Mancebo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Genzo Wakabayashi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Alberto Tafalla fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Genzo Wakabayashi having to interfere. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Dante Lacasa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lars-Erik Rolandsson, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. Thanks to some nice moves Lautaro Mancebo could shoot a difficult shot in the 70th minute, which Genzo Wakabayashi however easily saved by the left post.
