Ivan Dové fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Túlio Silva having to interfere. Toa Toa 4EVER's Túlio Silva proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 13th minute of the match, managed to save Toa Toa 4EVER from getting a goal against them. In the 19th minute, Toa Toa 4EVER's Thomas Bartlett seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Thomas Bartlett the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Toa Toa 4EVER protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Thomas Bartlett had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. Lionel Paly stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Diego Barral's shot from short distance in the 22nd minute. Toa Toa 4EVER's Túlio Silva played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Emery Heller in the 23rd minute of play. After 25 minutes, Curtiz Klein mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FC Wil 1900 and the Toa Toa 4EVER players grew even worse after the yellow card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 25th minute of the game. One of FC Wil 1900:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Toa Toa 4EVER:s goal. FC Wil 1900:s Lionel Paly showed great skill when he stopped Fan Chong Lei:s penalty. Lionel Paly showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ahmet Yahya Burçak, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. 39 minutes had been played when some careless play by FC Wil 1900's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Fan Chong Lei was slow to take the kick. During this time Toa Toa 4EVER's players had a chance to rest. The corner led Toa Toa 4EVER's Fan Chong Lei to fire away a dangerous shot which Lionel Paly despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 42nd minute of the match FC Wil 1900 got a corner. Toa Toa 4EVER's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Téo Rosa ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Ivan Dové got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Túlio Silva quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Túlio Silva showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Emery Heller in the 54th minute of the match. With a little luck, FC Wil 1900's Lionel Paly got control of the ball when Ahmet Yahya Burçak tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 61st minute the ball was on its way in behind FC Wil 1900's goalkeeper Lionel Paly, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Túlio Silva didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Pirmin Jäggi went, in the 63rd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. In the 66th minute Diego Barral shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lionel Paly saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Túlio Silva showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tory Pryor in the 68th minute of the match. After 70 played minutes Toa Toa 4EVER got a freekick which was hit by Elmar van der Woude. In the 71st minute, Pirmin Jäggi ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Túlio Silva was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. 74 minutes into the match, FC Wil 1900's goal looked a bit too open when Diego Barral came free, but Lionel Paly reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 79th minute, Demetrio Ubriaco hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, FC Wil 1900's Curtiz Klein got a free kick in the 81st minute. Ahmet Yahya Burçak recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 81st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. FC Wil 1900's Lionel Paly played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Diego Barral in the 83rd minute of play. In the 87th minute of the match Toa Toa 4EVER got a corner. FC Wil 1900's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Fan Chong Lei ran over to the corner to take the kick. 88 minutes into the game, FC Wil 1900's Tory Pryor nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Túlio Silva made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. Túlio Silva took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Emery Heller, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. There was no doubt that FC Wil 1900 were the better team. FC Wil 1900's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
