It was Joel Gaona who took care of the corner kick. The corner ended in Lautaro Mancebo almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but KINDERUZ's Isidoro Nóbrega did a great save. 13 minutes into the match, KINDERUZ's goal looked a bit too open when Lautaro Mancebo came free, but Isidoro Nóbrega reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 15th minute, Carlos Pacheco managed to get in a good position for a shot. KINDERUZ's supporters rose to their feet, but Carlos Pacheco was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dante Lacasa breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The audience thought a goal was coming when Nechifor Isbășoiu got free with Dante Lacasa in the 18th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 22nd minute, Nechifor Isbășoiu ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Dante Lacasa was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Isidoro Nóbrega took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joel Gaona, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Isidoro Nóbrega showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alberto Tafalla in the 33rd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joel Gaona in the 35th minute of play forced KINDERUZ's goalkeeper Isidoro Nóbrega to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 39th minute the ball was on its way in behind KINDERUZ's goalkeeper Isidoro Nóbrega, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 41 minutes into the match, Mexico's goal looked a bit too open when Carlos Pacheco came free, but Dante Lacasa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. KINDERUZ's manager was very thankful on the sidelines as his team had managed to keep the ball out of the net after some serious pressure by Mexico.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Teodosio Olo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Isidoro Nóbrega made a fantastic save in the 53rd minute, when Alberto Tafalla sent off a good shot on target. In the 54th minute Mexico were awarded a corner. Joel Gaona went to the cornerflag to take it. Mexico's Joel Gaona was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Isidoro Nóbrega in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Isidoro Nóbrega made an important save on a dangerous shot by Alberto Tafalla in the 57th minute. In the 58th minute, KINDERUZ's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Alberto Tafalla fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. The corner led Mexico's Joel Gaona to fire away a dangerous shot which Isidoro Nóbrega despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. 90 minutes into the game, Bruno Alves threw the ball into play from the sideline. Mexico's Felix Luque quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Diogo Llorente hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. Alberto Tafalla fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Isidoro Nóbrega having to interfere. Isidoro Nóbrega made an important save on a dangerous shot by Lautaro Mancebo in the 93rd minute. Dante Lacasa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Carlos Pacheco, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The KINDERUZ fans cheered their team off the field, for while Mexico had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
