Jeronimo Abella dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. The supporters of INDEPENDIENTE F.C. booed when ㄇㄜㄕ 01-07-24 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. André Luiz Vidal didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rodolfo Damião showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Martin Erramu, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. INDEPENDIENTE F.C.'s Jeronimo Abella played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by André Luiz Vidal in the 34th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in INDEPENDIENTE F.C.'s zone, André Luiz Vidal stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jeronimo Abella came out of the goal and André Luiz Vidal tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Martin Erramu to strike the kick off in the second half. André Luiz Vidal recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 56th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Rodolfo Damião took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vladimiro Sugar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. ㄇㄜㄕ 01-07-24's Pedrinho Esteves was substituted for Ciro Alves. ㄇㄜㄕ 01-07-24's Kauan Fernandes managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Cristian Ado in the 63 minute of the game. The audience was convinced that Jair Messias's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jeronimo Abella was relentless in the 64th minute of the game. Kauan Fernandes charged in rather forcefully in the 65th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Kauan Fernandes the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 68th minute, André Luiz Vidal got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Jair Messias might have been able to make a better finish in the 70th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jeronimo Abella. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jair Messias ran back to his position shaking his head. Jair Messias could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 70th minute of the match, but Jeronimo Abella made a huge save. In the 72nd minute, Carlos Eduardo Mazza hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The throw-in from Martin Herrera in the 75th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by ㄇㄜㄕ 01-07-24's Cacá Dantas. André Luiz Vidal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jeronimo Abella having to interfere.
