Tanek Chuchro was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. A collision led to DUBAI Palm Jumeirah getting a freekick after 8 minutes play. Zaher Al Mahmed hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, DUBAI Palm Jumeirah's Sobah Bahbhani got a free kick in the 16th minute. Maitham Al Hajraf sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. A sloppy throw-in by Tytus Bienienda in the 33rd minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by DUBAI Palm Jumeirah's Oun Shamsah. In the 38th minute Jerzy Maziarski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Shaheen Al Ali saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Shaheen Al Ali showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mariusz Wejta, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. In the 43rd minute, Westbam's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Moath Al Ansari fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jerzy Maziarski stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Westbam booed when DUBAI Palm Jumeirah was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Esmael Al Arbash didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tanek Chuchro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Moath Al Ansari, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Moath Al Ansari had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd rose to their feet as Mariusz Wejta kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Shaheen Al Ali. That made the score 1-1 in the 63 minute of play. In the 66th minute, Westbam's Mariusz Wejta ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Shaheen Al Ali. Shaheen Al Ali yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-2. Mariusz Wejta blasted a shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Shaheen Al Ali having to make a save. Shaheen Al Ali made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jerzy Maziarski in the 71st minute. DUBAI Palm Jumeirah's Moath Al Ansari got a good chance for a goal in the 72nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 74 minutes of play, DUBAI Palm Jumeirah's Moath Al Ansari made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Tanek Chuchro was left in no man's land by his defense there! When Msaed Shamsah fell near the penalty area in the 77th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored DUBAI Palm Jumeirah's protests and gave Msaed Shamsah a yellow card for diving instead. Msaed Shamsah hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. Shaheen Al Ali made a fantastic save in the 84th minute, when Jerzy Maziarski sent off a good shot on target. In the 85th minute, Msaed Shamsah hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 92 minutes into the game, Herbert Kosiorek recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Shaheen Al Ali. Herbert Kosiorek showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-3. Westbam's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
