Kilometro 30's Benjamin Cordeara played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Martin Erramu in the 51st minute of play. Rolando Felipo hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. Tomas Mikeldi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Benjamin Cordeara tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hugo Beltran couldn't finish the play. In the 73rd minute Martin Erramu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benjamin Cordeara saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Candido Victoro hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. INDEPENDIENTE F.C.'s fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
