When the match clock showed 15 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Boris Dorofeev sped through Oranil's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Téo Koehler. A collision led to Oranil getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Percival Simão hit a great ball. Téo Koehler showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Boris Liahnovich in the 20th minute of the match. When Percival Simão fell near the penalty area in the 80th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Oranil's protests and gave Percival Simão a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of FORTALEZA booed when Oranil was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. Percival Simão didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Boris Dorofeev got free with Téo Koehler in the 84th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.
