Jerzy Maziarski charged in rather forcefully in the 26th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jerzy Maziarski the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Atlético de Crisal booed when Westbam was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jerzy Maziarski didn't get a good kick on the ball. 28 minutes into the match, Dorival Koehler dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Wladyslaw Laskowski, 1-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 33rd minute, Dorival Koehler managed to get in a good position for a shot. Atlético de Crisal's supporters rose to their feet, but Dorival Koehler was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Wladyslaw Laskowski breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jerzy Maziarski in the 38th minute of play forced Atlético de Crisal's goalkeeper Mateus Barral to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mateus Barral made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mariusz Wejta in the 39th minute of play. In the 41stth minute of the game Jerzy Maziarski who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Atlético de Crisal's Mateus Barral was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Jerzy Maziarski was the one to do the kick off. 54 minutes into the match, Jerzy Maziarski had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Mateus Barral. Atlético de Crisal's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jerzy Maziarski was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-3. 57 minutes into the game, Westbam's Mariusz Wejta nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Mateus Barral made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-4. A collision led to Westbam getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Cezary Falk hit a great ball. In the 63rd minute of the match Toninho Martins shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Wladyslaw Laskowski showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 64th minute of the match, Mariusz Wejta tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Mateus Barral saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. After some careless play in the Atlético de Crisal defense, Mariusz Wejta kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Mateus Barral. The Atlético de Crisal fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Mateus Barral should have stopped the shot. When Mariusz Wejta fell near the penalty area in the 70th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Westbam's protests and gave Mariusz Wejta a yellow card for diving instead. After a defensive mix-up in Atlético de Crisal's zone, Mariusz Wejta stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mateus Barral came out of the goal and Mariusz Wejta tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 77 minutes into the match, Atlético de Crisal's goalkeeper Mateus Barral had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jerzy Maziarski. Mateus Barral made a fantastic save in the 83rd minute, when Jerzy Maziarski sent off a good shot on target. The crowd rose to their feet as Westbam's Mariusz Wejta slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Mateus Barral. That made the score 1-6 after 85 minutes of play. Jerzy Maziarski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mateus Barral having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Westbam's Jaroslaw Panasewicz got a free kick in the 94th minute. Wladyslaw Laskowski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dorival Koehler, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
