Filiberto Figueroa made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Tiburcio Mirande's late challenge caught a Atlético de Crisal's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Tiburcio Mirande helped the player get up and apologised. Dede Vital sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 12th match minute, Los Potrillos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Raimundo Platon to maneuver through the defense. Dede Vital fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Filiberto Figueroa having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Dede Vital during the 21st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Dede Vital hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. When the match had gone on for 22 minutes, Abelardo Cloyo took a quick shot and it went in 2-1 without a chance for Mateus Barral to make any attempt to save it. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Enzo Rios during the 28th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Atlético de Crisal booed when Los Potrillos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Enzo Rios didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 36th minute José Correia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Filiberto Figueroa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Atlético de Crisal's Toninho Martins got a free kick in the 39th minute. Atlético de Crisal's Mateus Barral played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Enzo Rios in the 40th minute of play. In the 42nd minute, Abelardo Cloyo fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Toninho Martins was the one to do the kick off. Igor Rocha's late challenge caught a Los Potrillos's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Igor Rocha helped the player get up and apologised. Igor Rocha kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. In the 54th match minute, Los Potrillos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gerardo Abeita to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Los Potrillos getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Enzo Rios hit a great ball. Filiberto Figueroa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Toninho Martins in the 58th minute of play. After some careless play in the Los Potrillos defense, Dede Vital kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Filiberto Figueroa. The Los Potrillos fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Filiberto Figueroa should have stopped the shot. Filiberto Figueroa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Toninho Martins in the 66th minute of play. In the 70th minute, Atlético de Crisal's Toninho Martins dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-3. Mateus Barral showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Enzo Rios, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. In the 84th minute, Toninho Martins sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Los Potrillos's Filiberto Figueroa didn't even have to move. In the 88th minute, Abelardo Cloyo made a precise shot to the right of Mateus Barral. Atlético de Crisal's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-3. In the 91st minute, Dede Vital got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Atlético de Crisal players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
