After a rather tough play, Encanto's Cauan Berger got a free kick in the 23rd minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 25th minute, Moath Al Ansari managed to get in a good position for a shot. DUBAI Palm Jumeirah's supporters rose to their feet, but Moath Al Ansari was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Eliseu Tasso breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 30 minutes into the match, Manuel Vianna notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of DUBAI Palm Jumeirah's Shaheen Al Ali. Shaheen Al Ali was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Gustavo Valladares during the 33rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 33 played minutes Encanto got a freekick which was hit by Gustavo Valladares. DUBAI Palm Jumeirah's Shaheen Al Ali played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Manuel Vianna in the 35th minute of play. Zaher Al Mahmed thought of kicking away a contribution in front of goal but messed it up so badly that the ball went to the right of an astonished Shaheen Al Ali, a very annoying self made goal in the 37th minute which led to 1-3. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-3 lead.

The crowd rose to their feet as Nico Palmeira kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Shaheen Al Ali. That made the score 1-4 in the 53 minute of play. Sobah Bahbhani's late challenge caught a Encanto's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Sobah Bahbhani helped the player get up and apologised. Sobah Bahbhani kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. Maitham Al Hajraf hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. Encanto's Nico Palmeira got a good chance for a goal in the 64th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 66 minutes into the match, DUBAI Palm Jumeirah's goal looked a bit too open when Manuel Vianna came free, but Shaheen Al Ali reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 67th minute the ball was on its way in behind DUBAI Palm Jumeirah's goalkeeper Shaheen Al Ali, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Jerônimo Mendes hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. After 75 played minutes DUBAI Palm Jumeirah got a freekick which was hit by Sobah Bahbhani. Moath Al Ansari scored 2-4 in the 78th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Eliseu Tasso, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 94th minute, Nico Palmeira got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When the final whistle sounded Encanto left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than DUBAI Palm Jumeirah.
