Jeronimo Abella came out of the goal in the 24th minute to try and stop a shot by Westbam's Jerzy Maziarski. But to his dismay, Jerzy Maziarski quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. After 26 played minutes INDEPENDIENTE F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Dionisio Nesor. Westbam's Gwidon Iwanowski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nemesio Tabb in the 32nd minute of play. Dionisio Nesor hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. If Wladyslaw Laskowski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 46th minute Nemesio Tabb shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gwidon Iwanowski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Nemesio Tabb made a kick off. After 52 minutes of play, INDEPENDIENTE F.C.'s Isidoro Senon made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Gwidon Iwanowski was left in no man's land by his defense there! Gwidon Iwanowski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Isidoro Senon in the 55th minute of play. If Wladyslaw Laskowski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 62nd minute Napoleon Kaczanka shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jeronimo Abella saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Westbam's Wladyslaw Laskowski got his second yellow card of the match in the 66th minute. The referee ordered Wladyslaw Laskowski off the ground. After 66 played minutes Westbam got a freekick which was hit by Wladyslaw Laskowski. Hernan Min fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gwidon Iwanowski having to interfere. Napoleon Kaczanka sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jerzy Maziarski might have been able to make a better finish in the 95th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jeronimo Abella. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jerzy Maziarski ran back to his position shaking his head. INDEPENDIENTE F.C.'s supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
