Kilometro 30's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Los Potrillos the free kick. 10 minutes into the match, Candido Victoro notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Los Potrillos's Filiberto Figueroa. Filiberto Figueroa was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. If Jorge Porres had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Filiberto Figueroa didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Kilometro 30's Jorge Porres shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 2-0 in the ordered_time% minute. When the match had gone on for 19 minutes, Enzo Rios put it in 2-1 from a short distance just to the right of Benjamin Cordeara. Abelardo Cloyo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benjamin Cordeara having to interfere. If Jorge Porres had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Kilometro 30's zone, Enzo Rios stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Benjamin Cordeara came out of the goal and Enzo Rios tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Efrain Orland kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. Jorge Porres could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 38th minute of the match, but Filiberto Figueroa made a huge save. After having played for 39 minutes, Hugo Beltran managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Kilometro 30's supporters crossed their fingers, but Hugo Beltran was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Filiberto Figueroa was out of position in the 41 minute of play, and Jorge Porres capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Jorge Porres really showed his touch with that goal: 3-1. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Abelardo Cloyo made a kick off. After 53 played minutes Los Potrillos got a freekick which was hit by Tiburcio Mirande. If Enzo Rios had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jorge Porres's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Filiberto Figueroa read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 63rd minute of play. A collision led to Los Potrillos getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Raimundo Platon hit a great ball. In the 69th match minute, Kilometro 30 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Amado Nabar to maneuver through the defense. Enzo Rios could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 70th minute of the match, but Benjamin Cordeara made a huge save. 71 minutes into the match, Kilometro 30's Candido Victoro sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Filiberto Figueroa narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Benjamin Cordeara didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Abelardo Cloyo went, in the 73rd minute, to the upper right corner, 3-2 was the resulting score. After a defensive mix-up in Kilometro 30's zone, Abelardo Cloyo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Benjamin Cordeara came out of the goal and Abelardo Cloyo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 82nd minute of the match Gerardo Abeita shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Benjamin Cordeara showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After 83 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Los Potrillos! In the 84th minute there was a penalty for Kilometro 30. Hugo Beltran stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Filiberto Figueroa. 4-2. With an all-out effort, Los Potrillos's Benjamin Cordeara threw himself towards the right post 91 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Abelardo Cloyo, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. The audience was convinced that Abelardo Cloyo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Benjamin Cordeara was relentless in the 91st minute of the game. Benjamin Cordeara showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Abelardo Cloyo in the 93rd minute of the match. 95 minutes into the match, Kilometro 30's goal looked a bit too open when Abelardo Cloyo came free, but Benjamin Cordeara reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 98th minute of the match, Abelardo Cloyo tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Benjamin Cordeara saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Kilometro 30 fans cheered their team off the field, for while Los Potrillos had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
