The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Gwidon Iwanowski showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Wladyslaw Laskowski stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 52 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Westbam! In the 55th match minute, FORTALEZA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Prohar Nizavets to maneuver through the defense. In the 59th match minute, Westbam was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Slawomir Jeziorkowski to maneuver through the defense. The Westbam fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gwidon Iwanowski should have stopped the shot. 79 minutes into the match, Westbam's goal looked a bit too open when Juljan Shabanov came free, but Gwidon Iwanowski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 81st minute the ball was on its way in behind FORTALEZA's goalkeeper Valery Gurinovich, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in FORTALEZA's zone, Wladyslaw Laskowski stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Valery Gurinovich came out of the goal and Wladyslaw Laskowski tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When the referee ended the match the FORTALEZA players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
